Northern Lights Inc. began providing electric power to area homes in 1935. For the first time, this allowed area residents to retire their manual water pumps for the convenience of running water.In the early 1960s, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Grush consider options in electric appliances once power was extended to the Yaak Valley.
