Manager’s Message – November 2026

A Season of Gratitude

Annie Terracciano, General Manager, Northern Lights

November brings two meaningful opportunities to pause and give thanks. Veterans Day reminds us to honor those who have served our country, while Thanksgiving invites us to appreciate the people and everyday blessings in our lives.

On November 11, we recognize the men and women who have served in our armed forces. To our Northern Lights members who are veterans: Thank you for your service, dedication and the sacrifices you have made for our country. We are grateful for the freedom your service has helped protect.

Our appreciation extends to military families. Supporting a loved one through deployment, time apart and the uncertainty of military life requires strength and sacrifice. As we gather for the holidays, we remember those serving away from home and the families awaiting their return.

Within our Northern Lights family, I am proud to recognize board members Jim Woodward and Jill Vandegrift and employees Cody Bradshaw and Trevor Kelly for their military service. Thank you for serving our nation and for continuing to serve our communities.

Thanksgiving offers another chance to express our gratitude. Whether we gather around a table with loved ones, share a meal with a neighbor or volunteer to help others, these moments remind us of the value of caring for one another.

I am especially thankful for you, our members. You are the most important part of Northern Lights. As a member-owned cooperative, we share a connection that extends beyond electric service. We live and work in the communities we serve.

I also want to thank our employees and directors for their dedication to our members throughout the year, including our crews who stand ready when outages interrupt holiday plans.

From all of us at Northern Lights, thank you to our veterans, and best wishes to you and your loved ones for a happy Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,
Annie Terracciano
General Manager
