The board meets monthly to set policy and develop long-range goals, always safeguarding the interests of cooperative members. Directors are also responsible for overseeing cooperative finances including budget approval and retirement of patronage capital as well as setting rates. Board members are expected to be knowledgeable about the electric cooperative industry and attendance at committee meetings or other events to benefit the cooperative is required.
