Give Us a Hand With Helping Hand and Operation Round-Up

Operation Round Up logoNorthern Lights Inc. and its members are working hand in hand to make a difference in the community.

Funded through employee and member donations, NLI proudly administers two charitable programs that assist members and the communities it serves.

Helping Hand is a one-time member assistance program to help pay qualifying members’ electric bills during financial hardship. Helping Hand starting in 1999. It has helped hundreds of NLI members in a time of need.

Operation Round-up, which started in 2004, is a voluntary program that allows members to round up their electric bill to the nearest dollar. The amount that the member pays over the actual bill is donated to worthy community charities in NLI’s service area.

Operation Round-up has provided more than $80,000 to local charitable programs in the past 14 years, including local food banks.

Now is a great time for members to donate to these worthy programs. Helping Hand funds are immediately available to those who need it. Members must meet certain criteria to be eligible for program.

By signing up for Operation Round-up, you can help fulfill the local food banks’ desperate need to stock their shelves with food. Please help by making your donation each month.

If you would like to donate the same amount each month to the Helping Hand program and/or sign up for Operation Round-up, contact NLI’s Member Service Department at 208-263-5141 or 800-326-9594, or visit our Operation Round Up page.
