The Northern Lights 90th Annual Meeting on April 21 consisted of an electrical safety demonstration, entertainment, refreshments, and the business meeting. Thanks to all the members who made the effort to attend.
NLI Board Directors in Districts 2 and 4 were up for election this year. Director Jill Vandegrift, District 2, and Director Steve Klatt, District 4, ran unopposed.
Congratulations to Jill and Steve for retaining their board positions.
Keith Simovic, certified public accountant with Moss Adams, LLP, presented the 2024 audit report during the meeting. In February, auditors traveled from Portland, Oregon, to our Sagle headquarters, where they spent a week conducting a thorough search of our accounting records. I am pleased to announce that we received a clean audit with no adjustments.
Having a clean audit is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our staff to achieve this high level of financial performance, record keeping, and working with our auditors to make sure we meet all our obligations, standards, and rules. We have established a culture here of fiscal accountability and responsibility. This audit lets us know we have successfully met the standards we have worked diligently to implement.
