Attend the Northern Lights Annual Meeting

It is my pleasure to invite you to the Northern Lights Annual Meeting. The meeting is 5 to 7 p.m. PDT Monday, April 21, in the north parking lot at NLI’s Sagle headquarters, 421 Chevy Street, Sagle, Idaho.

The annual meeting provides members an opportunity to enjoy fellowship with 1 another, meet the NLI board of directors and employees, and learn about the financial condition of the cooperative. Members are also informed of current and upcoming projects to keep up with growth demands in our area as well as ensure our system remains reliable and in good working order. We have an electrical safety demonstration, goody bags, and will serve hot dogs, chips, and cookies for all to enjoy.

Each member who attends receives a $25 energy credit, limited to 1 credit per membership. Watch for an official postcard invitation in your mailbox soon.

This year, there were 2 districts up for election. Those seats are currently held by Jill Vandegrift, of District 2, and Steve Klatt, of District 4. Neither district was contested, so Jill and Steve have been duly elected for another 4-year term.

This month, we also celebrate National Lineworker Appreciation Day on April 18. Thank you, NLI journeyman linemen and all other field personnel, for all of your hard work and a job well done. Thank a lineworker today for keeping the lights on.
