NLI Offers Smart Thermostat Rebate

Heating and cooling consume the greatest amount of energy in a house. Smart thermostats provide an affordable and easy way for members to control their heating and cooling systems and lower the costs of their electric bills.

NLI offers a $140 rebate to members who invest in a new, qualifying homeowner-installed smart thermostat. This includes new construction and existing site-built and manufactured homes. Smart thermostats must be bought and installed from October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2025.

The smart thermostat must be installed in a home with either an electric furnace or heat pump system.*

To apply for the rebate, visit the Smart Thermostat Rebate page and complete the online or printable PDF rebate form. Include a copy of the purchase receipt and a photo of the installed smart thermostat.

There is a limit of one smart thermostat per household. The smart thermostat qualified model product list and forms are available on the Smart Thermostat Rebate page.
